Tai Museum at Sivasagar

The Assam Tai Museum at Sivasagar stands on the west bank of Sivasagar Tank.  It is opened for visitors from 1992.

The museum beautifully encompasses the rich Ahom culture and tradition. To name a very few are – Tai Manuscripts(history, religion, culture) , Utensils, Jewellery, Tai Clothes, Traditional Fishing equipments, Musical instruments etc.  And an expert guide lecture to enlighten on the enriching tour.
